Our School

Since 1968, Dubuque Montessori School has provided thousands of children with the learning tools needed to build a solid foundation for future growth, development and success. We offer quality preschool education as well as extended day services for children ages two through kindergarten that reside in and around the Dubuque area.

Dubuque Montessori School is a licensed preschool and childcare center through the Iowa Department of Human Services and a member of the Dubuque Child Care Alliance.

Dubuque Montessori School is proud to be a member of The American Montessori Society. AMS provides resources, standards, and training opportunities for our staff and school to better serve your children. This membership signifies the commitment to our students, school, and community.

To provide a curriculum which prepares the child to become a successful student and a productive member of society.

To ensure that a Montessori education is available to all children regardless of social, economic and cultural backgrounds. One of the ways we do this is to keep our tuition as low as possible and competitive with other preschools in the area.

Scholarships

Dubuque Montessori offers a limited number of scholarships based on income level and family need. The number of scholarships is dependent on available funds. We also accepts Dubuque County Early Childhood scholarships. Applications are accepted year-round and if selected, a most recent tax return must be submitted for verification.
