Fundraisers
As a non-profit organization, DMS provides many opportunities throughout the year for families to take part in our fundraising efforts. Participation is not required however we encourage families to support DMS through the donation of their time and/or, if possible, monetary contributions.
The following is a list of our major fundraisers that will take place this year and ongoing efforts for you to keep in mind. Additional fundraising efforts and information about how you can support DMS will be shared throughout the school year.
Fall
- Dutch Mill Bulbs Fundraiser Fall proceeds benefit the Peter Carroll Scholarship Fund – this fund provides financial aid to DMS students
- DMS Dollar-A-Day Campaign Pledge proceeds benefit the DMS budget – perfect for families looking to support DMS through a one-time pledge
Spring
- A Call To Auction, Virtual Auction proceeds benefit the DMS budget – featuring goods and services donated by local businesses and families
- Dutch Mill Bulbs Spring Fundraiser proceeds benefit the Peter Carroll Scholarship Fund
3 Ways to Support DMS Year-Round
SCRIP Scrip is a gift card that is used like cash at many participating retailers. It can be used for everyday purchases like gas, groceries, dry cleaning and also makes a great gift!
Dubuque Montessori School purchases gift cards from many businesses at a discount. Families purchase those gift cards from DMS at face value. Dubuque Montessori School keeps the difference, which goes into the fundraising account to help run our school.
